Today is the first official day of my vacation from my day job. It was raining earlier after I got Miss Sugar Plum outside and back into the house to take care of her morning business after breakfast – she even let me sleep in until 7 AM this morning! I was shocked … usually she wants me up & about by 5 AM on Saturday mornings (I usually do not get up then though unless she really won’t settle back down for another hour) or at least by 6 AM at the very least.
While drinking my morning coffee, I decided that would be a good time to work more on getting my State Name Tribal Dragonflies back up on the Internet. The rain that came down left the park bench out in the courtyard all wet – it is a wooden bench – I have no cell phone reception here in the apt so I end up outside on the patio usually to talk to my daughter … but even the patio this morning was not allowing her to hear me … so out to the courtyard I went … yay … she could finally hear me and we could have a conversation! I had just finished with Connecticut through Louisiana in sections with t-shirts, sweatshirts, coasters and cutting boards when she called … now I have some errands to run, grocery shopping to do, etc so I will start with Maine next time. I just love being on vacation LOL even if I am working – the working I am doing now is on my stuff! That is what makes the difference I think – it is not really like work but more fun to see my own designs back up for people to enjoy.
