Today’s featured art is I touched the starfish! by Barbara Burns
Last night, I spent a couple hours personalizing a WordPress Theme that I found at the WordPress Theme Directory. I wanted something of me on it so I re-purposed a graphic text logo form a prior site design and added a few interesting designs and whah-la … a new personal look for TXD.
This morning, I had a job interview with a local company and they have a gorgeous saltwater aquarium in their lobby right behind the front desk … big and inside the wall …. lovely … the fish are gorgeous … and the rocks are alive too … some kind of … coral … I think the receptionist said.
The only time I have seen that large a display of salt water fish was when I went to San Francisco to the Aquarium by the Bay there.
Impressive to see something that marvelous and wonderful right here so unexpectedly! I’ve heard that saltwater aquariums are a lot of work … but it was a joy to me today. I could identify the clown fish because of the movies … LOL … but I have no idea what the brilliantly colored, lemon yellow fish was but it was so bright yellow it nearly hurt my eyes! The black & silver fish was lovely too – I could not identify it but it reminded me of frilly lacy Mardi Gras masquerade ball dresses with it’s coloring.
I need to go visit Sea World in San Antonio … I have not been to Moody Gardens in Galveston to see the penguins yet either … I need to do that … but I don’t think Galveston is open again yet … but maybe soon.
