The joys of puppies and electrical cords. My daughter rescued a couple puppies and not only is she working on trying to find them a home, potty train but also to continue working as a Realtor. She has a Dell laptop – no desktop … and one of the puppies bit the cord yesterday. She called me to ask if she could buy replacement cords (yes – I told her a couple places to try – Best Buy locally had the best price) her husband was out of town fishing in a fishing tournament with his Dad. She didn’t have time to go get a new cord – she had houses to show so I was at her house puppy and grandson watching while she worked and she tried plugging her old one in a few hours later and it started working again so unless it quits working, she won’t have to buy a new one – that will save her a hundred bucks in her Texas puppy escapades.
She is busy puppy proofing her home today to safeguard the puppies (plugged in electrical cords are EXTREMELY dangerous to pets – young puppies and kittens in particular!) and her electrical cords. Replacement plug in cords are a marvel of technology – I remember when you needed an electrician that knew how to replace a cord if you were unwilling to discard an appliance due to puppy cord chewing.
